Things to Do

The Quaich is in the middle of Highland Perthshire, located at the geographical heart of Scotland, within easy reach of busy cities, such as, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness.

It’s an area famed for dramatic mountains, glens and lochs, ancient castles and unspoilt nature; for golf, fishing, walking and adventure; for distinctive cultural venues and exciting outdoor events.  Perthshire is known as Big Tree Country and boasts some of Europe’s most remarkable woodlands.  You’ll find many of these sites  easily accessible from the Quaich on a vast array of of paths and trails.

While the mountains offer panoramic vistas from their summits, the views are no less spectacular from the balcony of the Quaich itself!

Alternatively, the House of Bruar at Blair Atholl, known as the Harrods of the North, is a perfect day out for keen shoppers – combine a shopping trip with a walk up Bruar Falls!  Or choose to play a game of golf on one of the six courses within a 30 minute drive of the Quaich.

There will be no shortage of things to do whilst staying in the Quaich, this is a location with amenities for good and bad weather!
